The Will of God for Melchizedek

Posted by WOG Member on July 5, 2020 at 8:00 AM

Have you ever met a king and a priest? Have you ever met someone who was leading a nation and yet was mediating between God and people? And this mediation happens through prayer! Well, Abraham has met a king priest and his name was Melchizedek, and he can also be viewed on Will of God – The Movie. “And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God. And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth: And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.” (Genesis 14:18-20 KJV).

Being a king and a priest is a lifestyle that God has called us to and our position today would be leading people and praying to God for the people within our respective careers and vocations. The blessing that Melchizedek gave to Abraham was eternal and can be received by all of God’s people. “The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.” (Psalm 110:4). The greatest king priest that has ever walked the earth is Jesus Christ himself.

“Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.” (Hebrews 6:19,20 KJV).

We belong to a priesthood that is after the order of Melchizedek and this priesthood is fully dedicated to serving God and His people. “For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.” (Hebrews 7:1-3 KJV).

The will of God for Melchizedek was to set the priestly order that God’s people were to follow for all of eternity. To learn more about Melchizedek, order the audio now of Will of God – The Movie at www.WOGFilms.com.

The Will of God for Abraham

The will of God for anyone can be a drastic shift in valuable items, relationships, and demographics. Abraham, who was originally known as Abram, was called out by God to go to an unfamiliar land so God’s will for his life would be fulfilled. You can also watch his story on Will of God – The movie.

“Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” (Genesis 12:1-3 KJV).

Abram, his wife, and his nephew and others journeyed from Haran to Canaan and the Lord showed Abram that his descendants would inherit that land. God’s will may be an unknown journey at times, but the reward in fulfilling His will is a great inheritance for you and your descendants.

As Abram’s story continued, he desired to have a son, but his wife Sarah was barren, so she gave Abram permission to produce a son with her handmaid Hagar. Abram was 86 years old when his first son Ishmael was born, and as time passed the Lord spoke to Aram about multiplying and having a son by Sarah, and that son would have an everlasting covenant with God.

“And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him saying, as for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.” (Genesis 17:3-5,19 KJV).

The will of God for Abraham was a name changer! Completing God’s will is a process and if you hear from God you’ll know and understand his will for your life all the more. The Will of God for Eve

Posted by WOG Member on June 21, 2020 at 8:00 AM

The will of God was evident for man even during creation. Soon after the earth was created, God created man and knew that it was not good that the man should be alone and so God created many animals.

“And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; and the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, ‘This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.’” (Genesis 2:20-23 KJV).

You may be wondering who is this woman that was the help meet for Adam? Well, this woman was the wife of Adam and they lived within the Garden of Eden with absolutely no shame, and she also can be seen on Will of God – The Movie

Before the woman was created, God gave Adam a command: “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” (Genesis 2:17 KJV).

And the woman also knew of this command; however, she soon was deceived by a serpent in the garden to eat the fruit from the tree of knowledge, and unfortunately, she convinced her husband to eat the forbidden fruit as well. Adam and the woman suffered severe consequences for their sin against God, but since the Lord God is merciful, He gave them a plan of redemption to cover their shame.

To answer the question who is this woman that was Adam’s wife: “Adam called his wife Eve; because she was the mother of all living.” (Genesis 3:20 KJV). The will of God for Eve was to be the help meet for Adam, and to learn more about her order the audio of Will of God – The Movie at www.WOGFilms.com.
